TIPS FOR SETTING UP YOUR DIFFUSER
Following these tips will help you set up your reed diffuser and keep it working effectively for a pleasant and consistent fragrance in your space.
-
1. Remove the Safety Inner Plug
Take off the safety inner plug from the bottle and discard it in the appropriate waste container. This is usually a small, sealed cap that protects the fragrance oil from leaking and ensures freshness during shipping.
-
2. Insert the Reeds
Insert the reed sticks into the bottle. The reeds will start absorbing the fragrance oil right away. If you have additional decorative items like flowers, make sure they’re added in a way that doesn’t obstruct the reeds. Arrange the reeds in the bottle so they’re evenly spaced to ensure optimal fragrance dispersion.
-
3. Adjust the Fragrance
If you want a stronger scent, flip the reeds occasionally. This exposes the saturated ends of the reeds to the air, which helps the fragrance disperse more effectively.
-
4. Position the Diffuser
Place the diffuser in a suitable spot where it can disperse the fragrance effectively. A central location works well, but avoid areas with strong airflow that could cause the scent to dissipate too quickly.
Regular Maintenance
When the reeds become clogged or less effective, replace them with new ones to maintain a consistent fragrance
